Rust Server Rules:

Don't Cross the Line: While "shit-talking" is a common aspect of the server's toxic gameplay, it's still important to maintain a level of respect towards your fellow players. Avoid using extreme or gross profanity and derogatory terms that cross the line into unacceptable behavior. If your words become a persistent source of discomfort or offense, you may be muted or removed from the server to preserve a healthy environment for others. Remember, respect is key, even in the heat of competition. Just play the damned game.
Harassment: Repeatedly attacking a base until it's taken over or destroyed is a harsh aspect of Rust's gameplay, especially if you participated in offlining the whole server as others slept, you could incur the wrath of multiple groups, whoops, that's on you! However, if this harassment extends beyond normal gameplay and/or into the Discord server, where it becomes a persistent and unwanted presence, it crosses the line into unacceptable behavior. If this continues, it may lead to consequences for the offending player(s).
Fair play: Engage in fair gameplay. No exploiting bugs or glitches to gain an advantage, and absolutely no using cheats or hacks of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, aimbots, wallhacks, and other forms of cheating. Using cheats or hacks will not only result in a permanent ban from the server, but it will also be reported to the developers of Rust, which may lead to further consequences. We value a clean and honest gaming environment, and any attempts to cheat will be taken very seriously.
Communication: Use voice chat and text chat responsibly. Avoid using profanity excessively and respect others' wishes if they prefer a quieter environment.

Discord Server Rules:

No arguing over in-game events: The Discord server is not a platform for arguing about in-game events. Focus on socializing and improving your gameplay or reporting issues and bugs.
No personal attacks: Refrain from making personal attacks or insults towards other players, even if you disagree with their gameplay.
Respect differing opinions: Everyone has their own playstyle and opinions. Respect and listen to others, even if you don't agree.
No sharing of personal information: Keep personal information, such as real names and addresses, confidential.
No spamming: Avoid sending repeated messages or flooding the chat with unnecessary information.
Be considerate of others: Be mindful of your language and tone in the Discord server. Avoid using profanity excessively and be respectful of others.

Overencompassing Rule:

This server is not a democracy. As the server owner, who pays for and runs the server for others to play for free as a luxury, I reserve the right to intervene and remove any players who, in my judgment, are causing a significant disruption to the community or the gameplay experience. This decision is final and not subject to appeal.
